Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Oxford Solutions is working with an engineering consulting client seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to lead and expand geotechnical engineering services within the organization. This is a direct hire opportunity with a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days remote). The role offers strong visibility and leadership responsibility, with opportunities to guide projects, mentor staff, and help grow the company's geotechnical practice.ResponsibilitiesLead geotechnical investigations including planning, field coordination, and technical oversightPerform and review geotechnical analyses such as slope stability and settlement evaluationsServe as technical lead on geotechnical engineering projects from investigation through design recommendationsManage project scope, schedules, budgets, and client communicationProvide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project staffSupport the development and growth of geotechnical services within the organizationParticipate in client meetings and contribute to business development initiativesPrepare and review geotechnical reports, technical documentation, and engineering recommendationsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a geotechnical focus; Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering strongly preferred8-10 years of geotechnical engineering experience in consulting or project environmentsProven experience leading geotechnical investigations and applied engineering analysisExperience with slope stability analysis, settlement analysis, and subsurface evaluationProfessional Engineer (PE) or Registered Geotechnical Engineer license in PA, NJ, or MDPrior experience helping establish or manage a geotechnical program is strongly preferredStrong leadership, communication, and client-facing skillsInterest in contributing to business development and service line growthSenior Geotechnical Engineer / Geotechnical Project Manager - 26-00179
