Legacy Paws Rescue is run entirely by one person. One veteran, one five-acre sanctuary, and an unwillingness to leave any dog behind.The dogs who come to us arrive with stories. Some were abandoned on roadsides. Some came from neglect. Some spent years in conditions that left marks that take time and patience to undo. We take them all in, figure out who they are, and fight for them until they are safe and in the right home.It is working. But one person cannot do it alone forever. We are planning a haunted trail fundraiser and need an experienced event planner to help us bring it to life. Our property includes natural trails, creek crossings, and wooded terrain that creates a ready-made backdrop — we just need someone who knows how to turn vision into a real, executable event. Responsibilities include coordinating logistics, managing timeline and planning milestones, identifying vendors and sponsors, organizing volunteers for event nights, handling permits and safety requirements, and keeping the overall production on track from planning through execution. This is a ground-up build with no existing event infrastructure, which means the right person has real creative and organizational ownership from day one. Local candidates in Catawba County and surrounding North Carolina areas are strongly preferred as some in-person coordination will be required as the event approaches.
