Mari is a Michelin starred (2022, 2023, 2024, 2025) Korean Hand Roll fine-dining restaurant in Hell's Kitchen that incorporates traditional Korean flavors and globally inspired culinary techniques to compact them in a form of an open-faced hand-roll. Elevating such a simple cuisine into a culinary journey for our guests.
We are currently looking for Line Cooks to join our team!
Responsibilities:
Ability to learn, understand, and execute menus
Follow Recipe and guidelines set by the management team
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining composure and respect
Open and close the line
Maintain and ensure compliances with all regulations of New York City’s health and safety protocol
Ability to explain or answer all food preparation related questions
Assist team members when needed, work well in a group oriented environment
Qualifications:
2+ Year of culinary experience in restaurant
Michelin-Star level experience is preferred
A strong sense of urgency and strong communication skill
Able to work in a team environment
Able to work in a open-kitchen
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation
Knowledge of and interest in Asian cuisine is plus
Able to take constructive criticism, learn quickly, and constantly improve
Must be meticulously clean and aware of all food safety standards
