12 month renewable contract1099 ONLYAlzheimer's Rescue StudyStart Date: Early-Mid AprilMUST HAVE 5+ years of monitoring experienceMUST HAVE Alzheimer's ExperienceJob Title: Senior Clinical Research Associate (Alzheimer's Focus)Job DescriptionThe Senior Clinical Research Associate (CRA) will primarily work from home, with 8-10 days on-site each month. This role is crucial in overseeing clinical trials, specifically focusing on Alzheimer's research within the Central Nervous System (CNS) domain. The CRA will ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practices (GCPs), local and international regulations, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This includes managing site qualification, initiation, interim monitoring, site management, and study close-out visits. The CRA is responsible for ensuring the quality and timely submission of data from study sites and appropriate reporting and follow-up on safety events.Responsibilities+ Write comprehensive site visit trip reports.+ Compile and ensure completeness of regulatory documents and ethical submission documentation, including IRB/IEC study approvals and informed consent.+ Coordinate the shipment and receipt of study materials such as CRFs and manuals to study sites.+ Document site visit findings via written reports.+ Review study subject safety information and informed consent documentation.+ Conduct source document verification to ensure compliance, patient safety, and data veracity.+ Review CRFs using paper or electronic data capture systems and assist sites with data query resolution.+ Maintain regular communication with study sites.+ Perform other assigned duties as necessary.Essential Skills+ Bachelor's degree or a two-year nursing degree.+ Minimum of 5 years of field monitoring experience.+ Experience in CNS research - specifically Alzheimer's Disease+ Willingness and ability to travel.Additional Skills & Qualifications+ Experience with Alzheimer's research is preferred.+ Strong understanding of clinical research, site monitoring, and clinical monitoring.+ Proficiency in GCP guidelines.+ Familiarity with SIV, IMV, and COV processes.Work EnvironmentThis is a home-based position requiring overnight travel 3-4 days per week, amounting to 60-80% travel nationally. Candidates must have a fully equipped home office setup, including a laptop, printer, and basic office supplies. The role requires flexibility and teamwork, with the ability to adapt to leadership direction. The CRA will manage 7-10 sites, focusing on one protocol for Alzheimer's research with a small CRO. Candidates should be open to site changes based on enrollment, and must be comfortable with national travel.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Sacramento, CA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $85.00 - $95.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
