(SuprTEK) is seeking candidates for a Mid-Level Software Developer position on the Global Air Transportation Execution Systems (GATES) contract. GATES provides software development and support for air mobility operations during peacetime, throughout contingencies and in war by managing global air passenger and cargo data, headquartered at Scott Air Force Base near Belleville, IL.Responsibilities:Design, develop, enhance, debug, and implement software. Troubleshoot production problems related to software applications. Research, test, build, and coordinate the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements. Design and develop new software products or major enhancements to existing software. Address problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms. Consult with project teams and end users to identify application requirements. Perform feasibility analysis on potential future projects to managementAssist in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools. Resolve problems with software and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements. Participate in the development of software user guides. Requirements:A Bachelor's degree related to computing and 2 years’ experience, or equivalent years of experience working in the related technical field (4 years)Ability to maintain a SECRET security clearance (US Citizenship required)Java 8, Oracle 19, HTML5, CSS, PLSQL, SQL, XML, JavaScript, scripting languagesAgile MethodologyExperience with Eclipse, Toad, Gradle, GITExperience with Linux (RHEL 7) and Windows Server 2016 platformsAbility to obtain a Security+ certificationExpert communications, proficient and clear with documentationA drive to succeedRecommended Qualifications:Security + and knowledge of DoD transportation data and business practicesStrong understanding of test-driven development and test automationExperience with Java 11, Oracle 19, Springboot, Angular, and DevSecOpsAbout SuprTEKSince 1996, SuprTEK has performed exceptionally well on a multitude of DoD and government agency contracts.
