Buildings are occupied. Students are present. Summer schedules are compressed. Opening day deadlines are fixed. This role exists to ensure we deliver safe, high-quality spaces while coordinating dozens of moving parts inside active school environments.You'll own what happens in the field every day - leading trade contractors, enforcing safety standards, and maintaining schedule discipline - while partnering with your Project Manager on overall project strategy.Based in Flint serving districts across Southeast Michigan - ideal candidates may live near Flint, Grand Blanc, Howell, Lapeer, Owosso, Lake Orion and other surrounding areas.What You'll DoPlan and lead 2-4 week look-ahead executionCoordinate daily trade sequencing and site logisticsEnforce safety, cleanliness, and occupied-building protocolsVerify schedule alignment with your Project ManagerLead weekly trade coordination meetingsMaintain detailed daily reports and documentationDrive quality closeout with minimal punch listRepresent Clark professionally with district staff and administrators What Success Looks LikeIn year one, you're confidently leading execution in occupied schools, coordinating trades around academic schedules, and delivering on opening-day commitments.Over time, you're trusted with larger or more complex projects and mentoring Assistant Superintendents learning K-12 work.What You'll Bring5+ years as a Superintendent in commercial constructionK-12 or occupied-building experience preferredStrong short-term planning and trade coordination skillsClear, firm leadership presence on siteDeep commitment to safety and qualityProficiency with Phoenix, ProjectSight, BluebeamReliable transportation and mobility on active sitesWhat Makes Clark DifferentYou'll have real field authority with experienced PMs and executives behind you.
