The role will assist in leading special accounting and internal control projects, ensuring compliance with FASB and GASB standards. This position will require strong independent judgment and expertise in governmental accounting principles.Key Responsibilities:Assist with the preparation of complex financial statements.Lead special accounting and internal control projects.Ensure compliance with FASB and GASB standards.Provide insights and recommendations on internal control improvements.Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field.Minimum of 4 years of professional accounting experience.Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and government accounting standards.Ability to independently handle complex accounting tasks.
