Fort Worth, TXDescription:Job Title: Shipping and Receiving LeadJob Summary:Review order to ship and sales order.Essential Job Functions:Count all incoming and outgoing inventory parts, by hand or scale count. Verify and confirm certificates of compliance, verification of tags and labels. Operate an orderly and safe receiving and loading processing area. Review of packaging instructions select appropriate size and type of shipping container. Select appropriate inside packing materials, assume product placement within the container and ensure maximum protection. Marking of containers to ensure proper shipment occurs, matching and placements of applicable documents to the containers are shipped, staging of containers pending courier pick up, to ensure proper courier picks up the correct product. Keeping the work area clean and organized during the workday. Receive, repair harnesses into the computer and forward harnesses to Repair Station Department. Ensures proper personal protective equipment is worn, proper equipment is used, procedures are followed when moving and or lifting heavy objects and product. Deliver all parts to proper departments with documentation. File closed sales orders and purchase orders. Assist with stockroom responsibilities when required or any other related duties requested. Education and Certifications:High school DiplomaEnvironment:Manufacturing environment Supervision:As much or as little as requested by ManagerRequirements:Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Minimum of two (2) years’ experience of warehousing, storage and distribution methods and procedureExperience with government packaging including knowledge of mill standards requiredKnowledge of ITAR regulations preferred but not requiredInternational shipping experience preferred but not requiredGood organizational, communication and interpersonal skillsPM19
