Behavior Health Program Director-addiction

Talis Group’s client is a long-standing non-profit organization providing housing and healthcare across multiple states for over 100 years. This organization is hiring a Behavioral Health Program Director. This role will provide leadership, supervision, and oversight of clinical services within the substance use disorder and co-occurring treatment program. This Director provides direct billing supervision to clinicians and Peer Support Specialist.Salary is $85,000 + benefits package. M-F HIGHLIGHTED DUTIESDevelop a new program for substance use and co-occurring treatment services.Supervise clinical therapists, PRN therapists and Peer Support Specialist.Oversee delivery and quality of clinical servicesManage clinician caseloads, scheduling, and on-call coverageEnsure timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation and reportingCoordinate treatment services such as assessments, drug screening, referrals, and education programsProvide clinical supervision, performance evaluations, and guidance on complex casesSupport crisis intervention and emergency consultations as neededMaintain compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards (e.g., Medicaid, CARF, ASAM)Partner with utilization management to ensure accurate and timely billingServe as a key resource for staff, referral sources, and multidisciplinary teamsOversee student training and program participation HIGHLIGHTED REQUIREMENTSMaster’s degree in human services or related field.Minimum 3 years of experience in addition recovery and co-occurring treatment services.Minimum of 1-year supervisory experienceLicensed behavioral health professional with clinical supervision credentialsStrong leadership, organizational, and communication skillsKnowledge of regulatory standards and clinical best practicesExperience working in a substance use/behavioral treatment environment and experience with managed care insurance program.Proficiency in program development and management, marketing and public relations.
