Senior Research Analyst - Wealth Management
NexWealth, a boutique registered investment advisor and multi-family office, is seeking a Senior Research Analyst to lead investment due diligence and portfolio construction for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families.This role partners closely with firm leadership and the investment committee and is responsible for manager research, qualitative and quantitative analysis, portfolio analytics, and ongoing monitoring across traditional and alternative investment strategies. The position offers meaningful involvement in investment decision-making within a disciplined, fiduciary-focused framework.The ideal candidate is a CFA Charterholder (or Level III candidate) with prior experience in an RIA, family office, multi-family office, or similar wealth management or institutional investment environment. Strong investment judgment, intellectual rigor, and the ability to clearly communicate complex investment concepts are essential.This position is based in Philadelphia and is well suited for candidates seeking long-term growth in a high-accountability, professionally rigorous firm.Responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following:Lead and work closely with a team of fellow research analystsConduct comprehensive investment manager due diligencePerform due diligence on new and existing investmentsWork directly with high-net-worth clients and their outside advisorsLeverage research systems to provide qualitative/quantitative analysis to support investment manager and investment strategy selection recommendations and terminationsMaintain a database to capture the universe of investment opportunitiesDevelop manager and investment strategy-specific expertise to provide clients and the research team with commentary and data pointsInvestment Manager due diligence reviews, research reports, analytic reports, manager attribution analysisManage prime brokerage capital introduction relationshipsCreate recommendations for client portfoliosClient portfolio constructionMonitor industry newsRequirementsBachelor's degreeCFA designation or Level III CandidateMinimum of 5-7 years conducting investment manager due diligenceExperience working with and comfort communicating with high net worth clientsWork in firm's Philadelphia office (this is not a remote position)Organized and detail-orientedTeam playerWillingness to provide professional references and undergo a background check and drug testing in accordance with local law/regulations.About the FirmNexWealth is a multi-family office formed out of client demand for a personalized family wealth management experience.
