Maintenance Technician

Job Description : As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure our properties are in excellent condition. The ideal candidate will have a broad skill set, including basic electrical work, plumbing, drywall repair, painting, and general property maintenance. Welding experience is a plus. This role also requires someone who is tech savvy, as you will be expected to navigate and utilize various company software systems to manage work orders, track maintenance requests, and maintain accurate documentation.Key Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance tasks such as electrical repairs, plumbing, and carpentry.Conduct lawn maintenance and landscaping as needed.Repair and replace water pipes.Perform welding tasks (preferred).Clean out and prepare units for new tenants.Repair and patch drywall. Make ready office units.Paint interior and exterior surfaces.Conduct woodwork repairs and installations.Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.Maintain accurate records of work performed using company software.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.Basic skills in electricity, plumbing, drywall, painting, woodwork, and general property maintenance.Welding skills (preferred).Ability to clean and prepare units for new tenants.Reliable transportation.Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish (preferred)Trustworthy, honest, and able to pass a drug and alcohol test.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent time management and organizational skills.Tech savvy and comfortable learning and using various company software systems.Requirements:Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Ability to pass a background check and drug and alcohol test.Benefits:Competitive salary.Paid time off and holidaysOpportunities for professional development and growth.Positive and supportive work environment.Experience:Property maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)Language:English and Spanish (Preferred)Location:San Antonio, TX 78266 (Required)Shift availability:Day Shift (Required)Ability to Commute:San Antonio, TX 78266 (Required)Work Location: In person
