About The RoleThe role owns the analytical foundation of the product and business operations, translating complex data streams into actionable insights and strategic decisions.The team works closely with product, engineering, and executive stakeholders to define core metrics, build automated dashboards, and execute deep-dive analyses that drive growth.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytical models using SQL, Python, and dbt to support cross-functional reporting requirementsDevelop and maintain executive-level dashboards and visualization suites in tools like Looker, Tableau, or Mode to track key performance indicatorsConduct deep-dive exploratory data analyses to identify user behavior patterns, growth bottlenecks, and product optimization opportunitiesDefine, track, and validate core business metrics and data definitions across data warehouses like Snowflake or BigQueryPartner with data engineers and product managers to improve data quality, instrumentation standards, and schema designWrite clean, version-controlled code; participate in peer code reviews and maintain comprehensive documentation for analytical modelsWhat We Are Looking For3–6 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics engineering within a technology companyAdvanced SQL skills and strong proficiency in Python for data manipulation, cleaning, and statistical analysisHands-on experience with modern data stack tools: cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery), transformation frameworks (dbt), and BI platforms (Looker, Tableau)Strong foundational knowledge of statistical concepts, experiment design (A/B testing), and cohort analysisBachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative fieldBonus: Experience with event-tracking architectures (Segment, Mixpanel) and basic machine learning forecasting models
