This role ensures efficient labor utilization, adherence to safety standards, accurate inventory handling, and consistent execution of operational goals across all shifts.QualificationsRequired3-5 years of warehouse or distribution center leadership experiencePrior experience supervising or managing large hourly teamsStrong knowledge of warehouse operations and safety standardsAbility to lead in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentStrong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsPreferredExperience in manufacturing, retail distribution, or 3PL environmentsFamiliarity with WMS systems and productivity metricsForklift and warehouse equipment experienceBilingual (English/Spanish) a plusRoles and Responsibilities Leadership & SupervisionDirectly lead and support warehouse supervisors, leads, and hourly employeesSet daily expectations, ensure proper staffing, and labor allocationCoach, train, and mentor team members to improve performance and accountabilitySupport hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and disciplinary actionsOperations ManagementOversee inbound, outbound, picking, packing, staging, and shipping operationsEnsure work assignments are completed efficiently and according to scheduleMonitor productivity, throughout, and labor efficiency metricsIdentify process gaps and implement continuous improvement initiativesSafety & ComplianceEnforce company safety policies, OSHA standards, and warehouse best practicesConduct daily safety walks, audits, and incident investigationsPromote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance training is completedAddress unsafe conditions and behaviors promptlyInventory & AccuracySupport inventory control processes including cycle counts and auditsEnsure accurate material handling, storage, and system transactionsInvestigate and resolve inventory discrepancies or process failuresCommunication & CoordinationAct as a primary point of contact between warehouse management and floor staffCommunicate operational goals, changes, and expectations clearlyCoordinate with Transportation, Inventory Control, HR, and Maintenance teamsProvide shift handoffs and operational status updatesPerformance & ReportingTrack and report key performance indicators (KPIs)Support budgeted labor hours and cost control objectivesAssist management with daily, weekly, and monthly operational reportingPhysical RequirementsAbility to walk, stand, and work on the warehouse floor for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs as neededFlexible availability, including weekends or off-shift coverage if requiredBenefitsFree Medical & Dental Insurance premiumsHSA (Health Savings Account) with employer contribution401k with MatchLong-Term & Short-Term DisabilityLife InsuranceSupplemental BenefitsPTO & Paid Holidays Additional Job InformationInterested applicants must submit their resume for consideration using our applicant tracking system.
