Role : Power BI DeveloperLocation : Iselin, NJ (Hybrid)ContractExp : 6+Job Description :Role:Technical Strategic Role.SPOC at customer site, leading technical delivery for BI transformation initiative - MSTR to PowerBICollaborate and assist customer in defining strategy for report framework architecture and strategy.Analyze existing MicroStrategy Reports and suggest and implement migration plan to Power BIDevelop and maintain PowerBI dashboards, reports and dataset.Design and own end-to-end BI and analytics architecture using Power BI and SQL ServerDefine data models, semantic layers, and reporting frameworks aligned with business needsEstablish standards, best practices, security models, and governance for BI solutionsChange agent between offshore and onshore teamDesign and optimize SQL Server databases for analytical workloadsWrite and tune complex T-SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and functionsPerform performance tuning using indexing strategies and execution plan analysisConduct requirement-gathering sessions, technical discussions, and solution walkthroughs for migration from exiting MicroStrategy reporting suite to Power BITranslate business requirements into scalable technical solutionsManage client expectations and handle change requests effectivelySkills Required:Power BI (Hands-on)5+ years of experience in Data, BI, and Analytics4+ years of strong hands-on Power BI experienceDevelop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and datasetsStrong hands-on experience with:DAX (advanced measures and calculations)Power Query (M language), data transformations, and modelingPerformance tuning, aggregations, and incremental refreshRow-Level Security (RLS), workspace management, and deployment pipelinesExpert proficiency in SQL Server (T-SQL, optimization, performance tuning)Strong understanding and application of Data Warehousing concepts, including:Star and Snowflake schemaFact and Dimension modelingSlowly Changing Dimensions (SCD)ETL/ELT design principlesHands-on experience with Git, Bitbucket, or similar version control toolsExperience on MicroStrategy to Power BI migrationKnowledge and hands-on experience in MicroStrategyProven experience in client-facing roles with excellent communication and presentation skills
