Our team members have what they need to make a meaningful impact and are truly valued for who they are and what they contribute.To learn more about CIBC, visit CIBC.com.What You'll Be DoingReporting to the Vice President of Wealth IE Digital, Marketing, and Communications, you will act as the strategic lead in the design, development, and execution of CIBC's Private Wealth Signature Events (HNW and Family Office), expert showcases (roadshows and events), key partnership activations leveraging CIBC's suite of sponsorships, CGAM advisory events including annual due diligence conferences, CGAM bespoke institutional expert event, CGAM annual Institutional Investor Day, Next and Rising Generational national experiences, Investors Edge/Premium Edge events and strategic consultation on Wood Gundy advisor conferences and recognition (NBC, Chairmans, Executives, and Presidents). You will manage and evolve our wealth brand requirements leveraging the enterprise framework, provide insight, consultation, and support to the Private Wealth Leadership team, and work closely with CIBC Wealth Sales and Product, Business Controls, IT, Security, Risk Management, and other cross-functional departments to ensure proper processes, analytics, reporting, infrastructure, privacy, and technological requirements are met.As the Executive Director, Wealth Brand, Experience and Events Marketing, you will apply advanced marketing principles, navigate sub-branding, and ensure business flexibility within an enterprise structure. You will leverage events, sponsorships, and experiences to strategically enhance and develop the brand experience, leading key bodies of work including tone of voice, naming architecture, visual identity, iconography and more. Strong communications and relationship-building skills are essential.In this role, you will refine our branding for our wealth business, develop and execute events and initiatives aligned with Sales/Marketing focus, lead the Experience and Events team in strategic thematic development, project management, MarTech enhancements, and align events and experiences with the overall editorial and content strategy. Organization skills, eye for detail, and the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and delegate duties are imperative.You will also be a key contributor to the Digital, Marketing, and Communications leadership team, requiring strong business acumen and the ability to manage a broad spectrum of stakeholder and business leaders.At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive; details on your work arrangement will be discussed at the time of your interview.The expected annualized base salary range for this role is $136,680 to $186,680.In addition to base pay, you will participate in an annual discretionary incentive or bonus program. We are committed to fair, equitable, and competitive compensation opportunities and encourage open conversations about compensation throughout the recruitment process.How You'll SucceedWealth Brand Management – Brand Strategy: Leverage the enterprise brand framework to develop core brand elements, positioning, and messaging. Conduct market research & insights, analyze consumer behavior, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities. Guide marketing teams on campaign strategy and full-funnel execution. Ensure all internal and external brand expressions (products, packaging, employee actions) align with core values.Campaign development and execution: Integrate business goals and project objectives to lead and develop compelling marketing campaigns across owned and paid media, working with internal and external agencies and media partners. Manage and oversee agencies and outside firms as required, enhancing and rationalizing strategic approach, project operations and costs.Experience Strategy & Project Management: Manage the advisor and client events and experience roadmap for HNW, UHNW, institutional and advisor events. Develop signature conferences (GAM – Advisory and Institutional Investor Day) and multi-city roadshows supporting approximately 3,000 HNW and 150 UHNW clients annually. Create monthly and quarterly virtual events, national lifestyle event series, and sponsorship strategies. Use post-event experiences (thank-you emails, thought leadership, content) to deepen engagement.Tracking and metrics: Develop evaluation criteria for events, experiences, and sponsorships. Analyze results, make recommendations, and track marketing campaign effectiveness to determine ROI.Builds and manages relationships with internal clients and partners: Understand CIBC groups and partners, maintain key relationships with internal and external vendors, and create support for Wealth Management businesses.Business and industry trends and management: Stay current with events, mobile web, social media best practices, and manage projects within scope, budget and schedule, delivering high-quality work and creating risk management plans.People Management: Manage and coach a team of 4-10 direct reports, provide coaching, training, and developmental opportunities, and build relationships with partners to create revenue and profit opportunities.Who You AreYou have a minimum of 10+ years' experience in marketing leadership, strategic brand and events teams, strategic planning, and a strong knowledge of the financial services industry, with a focus on wealth management. You possess excellent marketing and events skills and knowledge of large/complex website management.You pay attention to detail and use critical thinking to inform decision making. You have excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills.You bring experience in digital marketing journey and can provide creative digital solutions to meet business needs. You have extensive knowledge of marketing principles and advertising agency experience.You are passionate about people, find meaning in relationships, and build trust through respect and authenticity.
