Job Title: Plant ManagerLocation: Southeastern U.S. (Relocation Available)Salary: $140,000-$170,000Skills: Tissue Converting Operations, Plant Turnaround, Maintenance & Reliability, Lean/Six Sigma, Team LeadershipIndustry: Tissue / Paper Converting ManufacturingA leading manufacturer in the tissue and paper converting industry is seeking an experienced Converting Site Manager to lead operations at a high-volume manufacturing facility. This individual will have full ownership of site performance, with a strong focus on operational excellence, reliability, and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities:Lead all aspects of plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality, and safetyDrive measurable improvements in OEE, throughput, and overall equipment performanceIdentify and execute facility-wide improvement initiatives, including waste reduction and process optimizationBuild and sustain a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvementPartner cross-functionally to ensure efficient and reliable operation of high-speed converting linesOversee multi-shift operations and ensure consistent performance across all teamsDevelop and scale operations to meet increasing production demandsTechnical Requirements:Hands-on experience in tissue or towel converting operationsStrong knowledge of converting equipment such as:RewindersLog sawsWrappers / bundlersCase packersExperience with parent roll handling and inventory controlProven track record improving OEE, quality, and scrap/waste reductionStrong background in preventive and predictive maintenance systemsMust-Have Skills:8–15 years of experience in high-speed converting or related manufacturing environments3–5+ years in a Plant Manager, Site Manager, or senior operations leadership roleDemonstrated success leading at least one plant or operational turnaroundExperience leading teams of 50+ employees in a multi-shift environmentHands-on leadership style with a strong floor presenceProven ability to drive culture change and operational disciplineNice-to-Have Skills:Lean/Six Sigma experience or certification.Experience with scaling operations in a multi-shift production environment.Familiarity with parent roll handling and inventory control processes.Expertise in the use of data-driven process improvement methodologies.Strong communication and cross-functional leadership skills.Why this Opportunity?High-visibility leadership role with full site ownershipOpportunity to make a measurable impact through turnaround and operational improvementFast-paced, growth-oriented manufacturing environment
