In this role, you will play a key part in evolving our existing Android application and delivering high-quality mobile experiences.You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibiliesFeature Development: Design, develop, and deploy new features for our existing Android application, ensuring seamless integration and optimal user experienceCode Quality & Optimization: Write clean, efficient, and scalable code using modern Android development practices and toolsArchitecture & Strategy: Contribute to architectural decisions and help shape the technical direction of the Android platformCollaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define requirements and deliver solutions that meet business and user needsInnovation & Research: Stay current with Android platform updates, emerging technologies, and industry trends, and proactively apply them to improve the app.Mentorship & Standards: Promote best practices in coding, testing, and design; mentor junior developers and help maintain a high standard of engineering excellenceRequired QualificationsProficiency in: Android SDKs, Kotlin, and a deep understanding of APIs across OS versionsStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilities5+ years of professional Android development experience, with a strong portfolio of shipped apps or features.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent practical experienceExperience working on large-scale applications with complex architecturesFamiliarity with RESTful APIs, HTTP, and asynchronous data handinglSolid understanding of UI/UX principles and experience collaborating with design teamsStrong grasp of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and performance optimization techniquesExperience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelinesPreferred QualificationsExperience with: Jetpack ComposeFamiliarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practicesAdvanced certifications or specialized trainingPrior experience working in a fast-paced mobile development environmentsEncore Talent Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
