Workforce Development Specialist (Moving I-4 Forward)
Workforce Development SpecialistWe are seeking a Workforce Development Specialist to join our team for the Moving I-4 Forward Program Office in Celebration, FL. This is an embedded position reporting to the office 5 days per week.Your RoleManage recruitment outreach and candidate engagement through initial contact, follow-ups, and structured communication effortsConduct phone screenings to assess candidate eligibility, program fit, and readiness for participationOversee and coordinate all onboarding activities in alignment with established SOPs, ensuring timely completion of required documentation and program requirementsServe as the liaison between candidates, the Contract Administration Team, and external partners including the temporary employment agency and hiring agency, ensuring seamless coordination throughout onboardingMonitor onboarding progress through tracking systems, provide regular status updates, and proactively follow up with candidates to prevent delays in class placementCoordinate and track background checks and drug screenings, including escalation of exceptions for review and ensuring compliance with program standardsSupport class placement by confirming completion of onboarding requirements and communicating reporting instructions to candidatesAssist with attendance verification and timesheet coordination by cross-referencing records, resolving discrepancies, and supporting timely payroll processingMaintain accurate documentation of all candidate interactions, status updates, and onboarding milestones within the tracking systemProvide ongoing support to candidates throughout the training program and conduct post-graduation follow-up to assist with job placement and workforce transitionAbout YouBachelor's degree in Business Administration, plus five years' experience. Without a degree, requires ten years' experience in progressively responsible administrative work.Be proficient in the full Microsoft Office Suite and have experience working with applicant tracking systems, preferably iCIMS.Possess strong attention to detail and ability to manage a diverse workload with shifting priorities.Have the ability to take initiative, follow through, and maintain confidentiality.Have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate to and understand people in a courteous and professional manner.Possess solid analytical, decision-making, researching and organizational capabilities.Rewards & BenefitsAt AtkinsRéalis, our values—Safety, Integrity, Collaboration, Innovation, and Excellence—are more than just words.
