This unique opportunity allows you to combine your skills in speech and language development with the critical role of identifying potential hearing issues in newborns.About The OpportunityThis is an exciting chance to make a significant impact on the lives of children in a beautiful and vibrant desert community. You will provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations and therapy services to a diverse pediatric population while conducting essential newborn hearing screenings.ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for children with various communication disorders.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech delays, articulation difficulties, fluency issues, and other communication challenges.Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to each child's care.Perform accurate and efficient newborn hearing screenings using established protocols and equipment.Maintain detailed documentation of all evaluations, screenings, and treatment sessions.Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology and infant hearing screening.Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.QualificationsMaster's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university program.Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).California state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).Experience working with children in a clinical setting is preferred.Knowledge and experience with infant hearing screening protocols and equipment is a plus.Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.BenefitsCompetitive salary and benefits package, including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.Signing bonus of up to $20,000 for qualified candidates.Relocation assistance may be available.Opportunities for professional development and continuing education.Rewarding work environment in a beautiful desert community.Trusted Staffe is an equal opportunity employer.
