Join a team dedicated to driving renewable energy adoption and making an impact on a sustainable future.Position Summary:FTC Solar is seeking a results-driven Distributed Generation (DG) Strategic Account Manager to grow our DG solar project pipeline across the North American market. This role will focus on developing strong customer relationships, identifying new opportunities, and driving sales of FTC Solar's tracker solutions for distributed solar projects, including customer sited, community solar, and small utility-scale installations. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, skilled in solution-based selling, and experienced in the DG solar segment.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute sales strategies to drive DG solar project growth and revenue in assigned territories.Identify, qualify, and manage new business opportunities for small-scale utility solar projects.Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, EPCs, Developers, IPP's, and other key stakeholders in the DG, and solar space.Collaborate closely with the technical, engineering, supply chain, and operations teams to deliver customized solutions for customers.Conduct market analysis, track trends, and provide feedback to internal teams to support product positioning and business development.Prepare proposals, pricing models, and presentations for prospective customers.Represent FTC Solar at industry conferences, trade shows, and customer meetings.Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals for DG projects.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.5+ years of sales experience in the solar industry, preferably in distributed generation or commercial solar markets.Proven track record of successfully selling technical solutions in a competitive market.Strong knowledge of solar project economics, financing, and installation processes.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional team.Willingness to travel to customer locations, trade shows, and industry events as needed.Preferred Qualifications:* Experience with solar tracker technology and/or utility-scale solar projects.* Established relationships with developers, EPCs, or DG solar project stakeholders in North America.Why FTC Solar:Opportunity to be part of a market-leading solar tracker company.Work in a fast-growing, innovative renewable energy environment.Competitive compensation package, including base salary, performance incentives, and benefits.Collaborative, mission-driven culture focused on sustainability and innovation.
