Summary: Trintech is looking for an FP&A Manager who wants to join a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment to support the Company’s operations. This individual is responsible for modeling, interpreting, and communicating data to drive informed decision making. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Support the budgeting and forecasting process including collaborating with key business partners, reviewing results, maintaining models, and providing recommendations Understand the financial impact of key revenue drivers and provide leadership with timely, detailed, and meaningful insights on revenue performance Analyze current and past trends in financial results and key metrics and review variances to identify potential errors, inconsistencies, and risks Develop and maintain complex financial models to aid critical business decision making Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment of financial plans with strategic objectives Identify opportunities for continuous improvement by using technology to streamline current workflows and enhance reporting efficiency Present data with relevant conclusions for leadership, operations, and other key stakeholders Make recommendations for financial model and dashboard enhancements to increase efficiency, refine reporting, and improve communication of results Lead other members of the FP&A team in the successful delivery of work product and promote in process improvements and efficiencies within the team’s work streams Perform ad-hoc analysis where required to assist in management decision making. Seasonal overtime to be expected (quarter-ends/year-end/special projects. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES BS/BA in related field (finance, accounting, economics, business analytics, etc.) 7+ years of finance, accounting, or data analytics experience with at least 2+ years Senior level role in Industry Proven leadership, management, analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills Strong knowledge of cost control, budgeting, accounting, and finance principles Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills Advanced Excel skills relevant to data manipulation, cleaning, modeling, validation, and presentation; including lookups, array formulas, pivot tables, charts, etc. - VBA knowledge is a plus Results driven with the ability to make informed decisions Demonstrates a high level of integrity PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES Master’s degree in accounting, business, finance or related field strongly preferred Advanced credentials such as MBA or CPA Experience in the software-as-a-service industry and/or subscription-based services and knowledge of SaaS KPIs is a plus Experience with planning applications, business intelligence tools, and other financial systems Work experience in small to mid-size companies At our core, Trintechers stand committed to fostering a culture rooted in our core values – Humble, Empowered, Reliable, and Open.
