Civil Design Engineer

Hello LinkedIn Network, we are seeking an entry to mid-level civil design engineer to join an exciting high profiled program in the NYC area. DescriptionManaging and coordinating interfaces between different Projects on a multi-billion-dollar MTA program including the designers and overseeing the integration of various contracts, packages and design and construction activities, ensuring seamless coordination between contractors and stakeholders.General Requirements1. 5-10 years of design engineering (architectural also acceptable)- experience with transit systems a plus2. BS in Civil Engineering3. Ability to adapt easily to the demands of multiple diverse situations, problem-solving, detail-oriented, and able to operate effectively in the face of uncertainty and change.4. Ability to work independently and collaboratively, as needed, in a high-pressure environment with multiple assignments due in tight timeframes.5. Proven ability to identify problems, assess the accuracy and relevance of information; ability to use sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives and to make recommendations.6. Understanding of project environment and context in preparation of documents that will often be subject to external scrutiny and public disclosure.7. Project meeting attendance.8. Experience in listed items that comprise a typical Infrastructure Project of this magnitude and type.9. Ability to summarize Lessons Learned present and future.10. Interface with multiple Project parties – design12. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.13. Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration and teamwork.14. Ability to identify and resolve complex problems.15. Strong documentation skills.Full time role. Onsite 4 days a week in downtown Manhattan, 1 day WFH.Salary ranges from $185k-$200k. Full benefits package offered.
