In this role, you will act as the central point of contact for ordering, tracking, and managing inventory movement between our central warehouse, active project sites, and external vendors. A primary focus of this position is ensuring optimal stock levels for critical safety gear and project consumables.Key ResponsibilitiesInventory Control: Monitor and maintain precise inventory counts for safety supplies, consumables, and high-turnover items. Conduct routine stock audits to identify low inventory and initiate re-order workflows.Procurement Support: Source and order essential tools and supplies in compliance with corporate purchasing guidelines.Freight & Transport Coordination: Arrange, schedule, and oversee trucking and freight services for moving heavy equipment, trailers, vehicles, and tools to and from various field locations.Vendor & Shipment Management: Request carrier quotes, select freight providers, and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery.Documentation & Tracking: Maintain a comprehensive order log to track shipment statuses, proactively resolving any logistics delays or discrepancies.Warehouse Fulfillment: Generate accurate fulfillment/pick tickets for warehouse staff to ensure correct item allocation and dispatch.Compliance & Safety: Ensure all logistics and material handling activities strictly adhere to company safety protocols and regulatory standards.QualificationsEducation: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.Experience: Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in a logistics, warehousing, or supply chain environment.Skills: Strong organizational skills, experience with transport scheduling, and familiarity with inventory management tracking systems.
