Health Aide/Part TimeThe Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD), is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Health Aide/Part Time at Georgia Regional Hospital - Atlanta, located in Decatur, GA.Salary Range - $20.00 - $24.00 per hour based on experience -- This is an hourly, part-time position with no benefits.Shifts:7:00 AM 3:30 PM3:00 PM 11:30 PM11:00 PM - 7:30 AM9:00 AM 3:30 PM (Treatment Mall Only)Job Description:Provide basic patient care and work with patients/clients to develop daily living skills. May take vital signs.Job Responsibilities:Answers clients call signalsAssists in administration of medications and treatments, takes vital signs, and/or draws blood or collects other bodily fluids, as directed by a physician or nurseBathes, grooms, shave and dresses clientsConducts activities for recreation and socializationEnsures safety and security of clientsFeeds clients who are unable to feed themselvesObserves and documents patient data, behavior and activityPrepares clients for treatment or examinationProvides clients with help walking, exercising, and moving in and out of bedTransports and/or accompanies clients to treatment units, using a wheelchair or stretcherReceives additional training, as required, to gain full proficiency and experience in all areas.Due to the volume of resumes/applications received, we are unable to provide information on application status by phone or email.
