Phoenix, AZ, US 6 days ago Requisition ID: 1018 Position Summary DAP Construction Management is seeking a dependable and motivated Irrigation Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure proper landscape performance and water efficiency across commercial and government projects. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently and as part of a team in outdoor environments. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems, including valves, sprinkler heads, drip systems, controllers, and piping Diagnose irrigation issues and perform necessary troubleshooting and repairs Conduct routine inspections to ensure systems are operating efficiently and effectively Adjust irrigation schedules and controllers based on seasonal and project needs Assist with locating underground irrigation lines and components Monitor water usage and identify opportunities for improved efficiency Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and service activities Operate company vehicles, tools, and equipment safely and responsibly Communicate with supervisors, project managers, and field staff regarding project status and repair needs Ensure work is completed in compliance with company standards and safety requirements Qualifications Previous irrigation installation or repair experience preferred Knowledge of irrigation systems, controllers, valves, and troubleshooting techniques Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and irrigation equipment safely Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Strong problem-solving and communication skills Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment as needed DAP Construction Management is an equal opportunity employer committed to quality work, professionalism, and continued team growth. #J-18808-Ljbffr
