The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the sourcing, underwriting, structuring, and closing of new investment opportunities that align with the firm's value-add strategy in suburban markets. This role is pivotal in maintaining the company's strong track record of delivering risk-adjusted returns. The VP will be expected to have a deep understanding of value-add investment strategies, lease-up modeling, debt structures, and capex planning, and to be proficient in Excel underwriting models, CoStar/Yardi Matrix, and market research tools. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential, as the role involves presenting investment recommendations to the Investment Committee and overseeing the full cycle of transactions.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years' of experience in multifamily real estate investments, with a proven ability to run full-cycle transactions and a desire to be part of a nimble, 5-person acquisition team. Existing broker relationships within the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic are a must, as is the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be prepared for last-minute travel. The role requires a collaborative approach, a high level of organization, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. A Bachelor's degree is required, and experience in a multifamily operating platform is preferred.
