Position: Director of Sales & MarketingLocation: Embassy Suites by Hilton Austin ArboretumReports to: General ManagerPosition Overview:The Director of Sales is responsible for leading the sales team, driving revenue growth, and building strong client relationships. This role focuses on developing strategies, meeting sales goals, and positioning the hotel for long-term success.Key Responsibilities: Develop Sales Strategies: Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company revenue goals and expand market share.Manage Sales Team: Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to enhance performance and achieve sales targets.Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Analyze sales data and market trends to forecast sales performance and prepare reports for upper management.Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and executive teams to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.Recruitment and Training: Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of sales staff to ensure a high-performing team.QualificationsExperience: Proven track record in sales leadership, with a minimum of 3 years in a sales management role, brand experiance ,Hilton is prefered.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.Skills: Strong analytical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and proficiency in sales forecasting and CRM software.Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a sales team, with a focus on achieving results and driving growth.Work EnvironmentSetting: Office environment with potential for remote work; significant travel may be required for client meetings and industry events.Salary and BenefitsCompensation: Salary is competitive and based on experience.This job description provides a comprehensive overview of the Sales Director role, highlighting the essential responsibilities and qualifications needed to succeed in this position.
