Housekeeper Wanted - Experienced Housekeeper Needed In Berkeley, Ca $40/Hour

We are a busy household - two full time working parents in Tech (husband commutes to the South Bay 4x a week), with one two year old and a large Golden Retriever. We are looking for someone to help keep the house running during the week. We already have cleaners who come twice a week, but more is needed throughout the week. This individual should operate with a level of autonomy, and as a partner to Kathleen (wife) and not someone who waits to be told what to do. This individual must be dog friendly (no care is currently required for the dog), and must know how to iron. We anticipate needing someone twice a week for a few hours (~12-4pm). Priority tasks: -Ironing - Weekly set of (mostly) husbands work clothing. -Vacuuming - Golden retrievers shed a lot. -Changing of bedsheets -Dry cleaning dropoff / pickup -Package return (UPS, FedEx, etc) -Take out recycling, garbage, compost, etc. Other tasks include, but are not limited to: -Tend to kitchen (rotate dishwasher, wipe down countertops, fridge interior wipe down, organize) -General tidy up (make up the couch, put away kids toys, etc) -Clean and sanitize toddler milk bottles -Rotate laundry through washer/dryer -Clean windows (toddler hand smudges, we have the windows cleaned regularly) -Other misc tasks as time allows: Cleaning out cutlery drawer, organizing pantry, etc. Things I am looking for: -Attention to detail (if you see the front of the cabinet is dirty, clean it) -Self-sufficient (eg I should not need to prescribe everything that needs to happen) -Comfortable with Dogs (not just tolerate them) -Someone who can iron.
