Wallwork Truck Center Systems Engineer
The Systems Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and securely. The role includes troubleshooting and optimizing system performance. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, be detail-oriented, and possess the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technicalQUALIFICATIONS (minimum Requirements)Education and/or years’ experience required:Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent years of experience). Minimum of three years’ experience administering and supporting IT and systems. Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Preferred/Required Skills and Abilities: Solid computer and troubleshooting skills; hardware, software and networking. Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to understand, listen, and resolve complex issues. Exceptional problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills. Ability to work independently, prioritizes existing projects, and proactively determine areas requiring additional attention, monitoring, and/or maintenance. Proficient in Hyper-V virtualization, Aruba Networks, and SonicWall security appliances. Supervision of others/decision making aptitude (if applicable): No supervisory responsibilities with this position. Essential Functions And AccountabilitiesProvide system implementation, software and hardware deployment, and system troubleshooting. Stage, load, configure, setup, and test the software applications. Implement, troubleshoot, and repair computer network and firewall solutions. Develop technical documentation outlining standards and guidelines. Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops hardware and software. Work together with IT team members to meet and/or exceed all defined team and individual customer service measures. Analyze system utilization, perform growth analysis and capacity planning and make technical/process recommendations for improving efficiency. Recognize potential problems or patterns of events and respond responsibly. Visit different locations as needed. Assist in overnight deployments as required. Adhere to work schedule and maintain regular attendance. Performs Wallwork Inc.-wide duties as requested by the designated supervisor.
