This role requires strong technical insurance knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with Producers and internal teams.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport Producers in developing new business opportunities for existing clients and prospectsInitiate and manage the renewal process, including developing and executing renewal strategiesAnalyze current client exposures and develop renewal and/or new business marketing specificationsMarket accounts, negotiate rates, and review quotes and coverage terms for accuracy and competitivenessSummarize marketing results and prepare client proposals and presentationsBind insurance coverage and prepare binders and certificates, or delegate issuance as appropriateReview policies and contracts to ensure accuracy and completenessPrepare coverage summaries and schedules for clientsReview client accounting history; respond to billing inquiries and resolve discrepanciesAssist with collections, reconciliation, and resolution of outstanding balances within 90 days of invoicingParticipate in the claims process as directed, including claim submission, follow-up, and communicationProvide technical guidance to support staff assisting with client service needsCommunicate pertinent information to brokers related to client retentionAttend client meetings as needed or directed by the ProducerMaintain accurate and complete data within the agency management system, ensuring data integrityPerform additional duties as assignedQualificationsRequiredAssociate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experienceSix (6) or more years of related commercial insurance experienceActive P & C insurance licenseAbility to meet continuing education requirements for license renewalProficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong customer service, organizational, problem-solving, and time management skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team environmentPreferredExperience within a large brokerage or multi-carrier agency environmentDemonstrated leadership or mentoring experienceFamiliarity with agency management systems and carrier platformsExperience servicing complex or mid-to-large commercial accountsBenefitsDahl Consulting is proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package to eligible employees that will allow you to choose the best coverage to meet your family's needs.
