Headquartered in New York City with satellite offices in Long Island, the firm works locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.They have an immediate need for an Intermediate Design Professional to lead, create and execute concept-driven projects for their retail interiors division. The ideal candidate brings a strong balance of creative concept development and technical execution, with a demonstrated expertise in retail store planning, back-of-house coordination, and retail fixturing and millwork design.ResponsibilitiesInterface with client throughout the design phaseAssist design director in overseeing the design teamDevelop preliminary retail programs of requirementsDevelop test-fits, schematic design planning, program analysis & basic code analysisPrepare and support design scope and budget documentation related to retail fixtures, millwork and specialty elementsCoordinate design requirements with client, consultants and project teamOrganize, prepare and attend design presentationsSelect, present, and specify furniture, finishes and accessoriesDesign and coordinate retail fixturing, including wall systems, gondolas, vitrines, POS and specialty displaysDevelop and coordinate custom millwork design, including detailing, specification and fabrication intentAssist and review engineering documents, shop drawings, fixture drawings and submittals to ensure compliance with design intentPeriodically visit project site during constructionRequirementsBachelor's degree in Architecture (BA); Master's degree a plusMinimum of 5 years continuous professional experience in Retail Interiors and architecture within a branded environmentStrong experience in concept design development for retail and branded environmentsDemonstrated expertise in retail store planning, including sales area and BOH layoutsProven experience with retail fixturing and custom millwork design and coordinationStrong proficiency in SketchUp, Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative SuiteAbility to create photo-realistic renderings utilizing Enscape & AI-driven softwareAbility to balance strong design thinking with technical execution across all project phasesUnderstanding of schematic design, design development and contract documentsA detail-oriented mindset and an ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentThe projected Annual Salary Range for this role is: $85K to $100K | Full-Time with comprehensive benefits in a HYBRID work environment.J-18808-Ljbffr
