Wealthspire Advisors LLC, Fiducient Advisors LLC, Wealthspire Retirement, LLC , dba Wealthspire Retirement Advisory, and certain other affiliates are separately registered investment advisers.Summary: Wealthspire is seeking a highly skilled VP, Enterprise Architect to define, govern, and evolve the firm’s enterprise technology architecture across infrastructure, cloud, applications, data, and end-user platforms. This role is responsible for ensuring technology investments are aligned with business strategy, security requirements, and regulatory obligations while enabling scalability, resilience, and operational excellence.The VP, Enterprise Architect will serve as a strategic and technical leader, partnering closely with Infrastructure & IT Operations, Cybersecurity, Application Development, Data, and Business stakeholders. This role plays a critical part in supporting platform modernization, cloud adoption, and carve-outs, integrations, and future M&A activity, ensuring consistent architectural standards and repeatable outcomes across the enterprise.Key ResponsibilitiesEnterprise Architecture Strategy & GovernanceDefine and maintain enterprise architecture domains covering infrastructure, cloud, applications, data, identity, and end-user computingEstablish and enforce architecture vision, principles, reference architectures, and technology standardsMaintain multi-year architecture roadmaps aligned to business strategy, priorities, and regulatory needsAlign business and technology execution through clear architectural standards and governanceLead architecture review boards and design governance processesSolution & Platform ArchitectureGuide the design of scalable, secure, and resilient integrated solutions spanning Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, identity, networking, and security platformsEnsure consistency and interoperability across infrastructure, application, and data platformsProvide architectural guidance and review for major initiatives, platforms, and vendor selectionsEvaluate new technologies and platforms for strategic fit, risk, and valueSupport vendor and product selection with architectural due diligenceInfrastructure, Cloud & Workplace AlignmentPartner with Infrastructure, Security, Application, and IT Operations to align enterprise architecture with operational realitiesEnsure cloud, network, endpoint, and collaboration platforms adhere to architectural standardsBalance long-term strategic direction with practical, hands-on guidance for delivery teamsSupport modernization initiatives including cloud-first, automation, and platform consolidationCarve-Outs, Integrations & M&ALead enterprise architecture planning for carve-outs, separations, acquisitions, divestitures, and integrationsDevelop repeatable architecture patterns and playbooks to support rapid, secure transitionsEnsure data integrity, identity alignment, and platform separation or integration as requiredMinimize disruption while maintaining audit readiness and security postureSecurity, Risk & CompliancePartner closely with Cybersecurity to embed secure-by-design principles across all architecturesEnsure solutions align with regulatory and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, SEC, NYDFS)Support risk assessments, architecture threat modeling, and compliance auditsLeadership & AdvisoryServe as a trusted advisor to technology and business leaders on enterprise design decisionsParticipate in day-to-day technology operations and vendor relationshipsQualifications10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, infrastructure architecture, or senior technology leadership rolesProven experience defining and governing enterprise-scale architecture in regulated environmentsStrong understanding of Microsoft-centric ecosystems (Azure, M365, Entra ID, networking, endpoint platforms)Experience supporting M&A, carve-outs, or complex organizational transformationsAbility to translate business strategy into actionable technology roadmapsStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including executive-level discussionsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experienceArchitecture certifications (e.g., TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect) are a plusAbility to travel up to 20% ( Domestic & International)What Makes This Role UniqueOpportunity to shape the enterprise-wide technology architecture of a growing wealth management firmHigh-visibility role with direct impact on business strategy, security, and operational resilienceClose collaboration with Infrastructure, Security, and Business leadershipCulture focused on thoughtful growth, disciplined execution, and long-term valueHybrid work environment with flexibility and strong career growth opportunitiesWhat We OfferWealthspire is proud to offer a comprehensive rewards package that includes a competitive salary, paid time off and holidays, a 401(k) plan with company match, exclusive discount programs, and robust health and wellness benefits. The base salary range for this position is $115,000 –$160,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
