Must be familiar with the ESRI ArcGIS platform as well as other GIS tools. Knowledge of implementing and writing schema and attributes into the GIS database.ResponsibilitiesCustomer Facing PositionProvide field sketches for Natural Gas Service/Main route locations according to customer standards by GPS and or digital sketchesIdentify all existing utilities within the proposed route of main/service installation.Communicate as necessary discrepancies or issues with proposed location with engineering & sales contacts.Draft designs using AutoCAD when requestedQualificationsHigh School DiplomaExcellent verbal and electronic communicationMicrosoft 365/Outlook knowledgeAndroid/Apple Tablet knowledgeGPS/GIS (Trimble/Leica) Surveying KnowledgeAutoCADNatural Gas &/Or public utility installation & design is a plus.Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentThis position may require significant time standing or walking on uneven ground, possible climbing of ladders or being in high places, working in tight spaces, lifting up to 50 pounds, and, in general, being overall physically demanding.
