Kitchen Manager Starting End Winter/Spring – The Dam Inn
The Dam Inn is a locally owned bar and restaurant known for great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and strong community ties. In addition to daily service, we host events, banquets, and weddings. We are seeking a creative, motivated, and hands-on Kitchen Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can lead our kitchen team with confidence.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Oversee daily kitchen operations and food preparation
Bring creativity to menu execution, specials, and catered menus
Lead, train, and schedule kitchen staff
Prepare and execute food for events, banquets, and weddings
Maintain food quality, cleanliness, and organization
Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
ServSafe Manager Certification required (or must obtain within 30 days of hire)
Manage inventory, ordering, and food costs
Previous kitchen management or leadership experience preferred
Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Strong leadership, communication, and time-management skills
Reliable, organized, and available nights and weekends
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
Experience:
Kitchen: 5 years (Preferred)
Shift availability:
Night Shift (Preferred)
Day Shift (Preferred)
Ability to Relocate:
Wilcox, PA 15870: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
