Manager of Med / Surg / Telemetry Location:Wildomar, California (Onsite) Job Type:Full-TimeThe Manager of Med/Surg/Telemetry is responsible for overseeing clinical operations, patient care delivery, and staff performance within the medical-surgical and telemetry units. This role ensures high-quality patient outcomes, regulatory compliance, and efficient department operations in a fast-paced acute care environment. This leadership role requires strong clinical expertise, team management capabilities, and the ability to drive patient care excellence while supporting hospital goals and growth. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of Med/Surg and Telemetry units Ensure high-quality patient care and clinical outcomes Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff and charge nurses Manage patient flow, staffing, and scheduling Maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards (Joint Commission) Monitor and improve quality metrics and patient satisfaction Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to hospital policies Analyze data, identify trends, and implement performance improvements Maintain confidentiality and handle high patient volumes effectively Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related field– Required Active California RN License– Required BLS Certification (American Heart Association)– Required ACLS Certification (American Heart Association)– Required Minimum2+ years of recent Med/Surg/Telemetry experience Basic EKG/Telemetry interpretation experience (or completion within 6 months) Required Skills Strong clinical expertise in Med/Surg and Telemetry care Excellent communication (verbal and written) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to manage high patient volumes efficiently Proficiency in computer systems and documentation Knowledge of patient safety and quality improvement practices Strong leadership and team management abilities
