After initial training in-person, this specific role could have the flexibility to work from home up to 3 days per week.Position: Systems EngineerAuto-Owners Insurance, a top-rated insurance carrier, is seeking a motivated individual to join our IT Division as Systems Engineer. Responsibilities include installation and technical support of computer servers and their applications in the company under close supervision and direction. The position requires the person to:Provide installation, training and support for computer server hardware and software using industry best practices in a team environmentMonitor server performance for potential hardware problems and deploy appropriate fixesProvide solutions for problems and questions pertaining to server software applications and document specific incidentsProvide research and development services for computer server hardware and softwareDesired Skills and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a similar major is preferred.
