A senior web developer with extensive experience in full-stack development and secure web application design. This role involves creating high-performance, user-friendly, and secure web solutions to support healthcare information systems within a military health environment. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to innovative system development while working remotely.
Responsibilities
Perform full-stack secure web development, including front-end interfaces, business logic, and data layers.
Collaborate with UX analysts to design effective and accessible end-user experiences.
Work with QA teams to ensure product quality, functionality, and compliance with security standards.
Participate in strategic decision-making regarding technology selection and system implementation.
Manage software development projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
Use Jira to estimate, prioritize, and organize tasks with input from architects and managers.
Monitor emerging technology trends such as AI-assisted development to inform project strategies.
Develop web applications and components from requirements gathering through design and deployment.
Design and implement reusable components for rapid development cycles.
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of programming, server operations, and security best practices.
Qualifications
Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in web development and deployment of mobile and web applications.
Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Current active IAT II certification and CE certifications aligned with DoD 8570 and 8140.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
Proven expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
Proficiency in backend development with ASP.NET, C#, and JavaScript.
Experience with Sitecore CMS, secure web development practices for DoD environments, and SQL/database design.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a focus on security and performance.
Leadership or mentorship experience within development teams and stakeholder collaboration skills.
Hands-on experience with agile methodologies, project planning, and task estimation.
Knowledge of MVC5 framework, progressive web apps (PWAs), and mobile app development is a plus.
Publishing Pay Range: $48.00 – $52.00 USD Hourly
This is a fully remote role and can be performed from an approved location.
