Infant and Toddler Teacher Assistant

Job Summary Tommy Tinkers, Inc. is now hiring Assistant Group Supervisors and/or Teacher's Aides. If you love working with children in a family friendly atmosphere, come join our fantastic team! Reliability, dependability, and a warm, friendly personality are a must. Full Time, Part Time, and select Split Shift positions are available. Must be 18 years or older to apply with a High School Diploma or Equivalent. Previous experience is required for an Assistant Group Supervisor. Previous experience is a plus for Teacher's Aides, but we are willing to train! Must be willing to obtain Health Assessment, all applicable clearances prior to employment and complete mandatory trainings within a specified time frame once employment begins. Responsibilities - Provide a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow - Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through play and structured activities - Monitor and document children's progress and behavior - Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development - Collaborate with other teachers Requirements - Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is a plus - Knowledge of childhood development principles - Certification in First Aid/CPR preferred - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to manage behavior effectively Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: From $12.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40 per week Work Location: In person
