Pharmacist in Warrenton, OR

A pharmacist role is available for approximately a 13-week assignment at a small rural hospital on the Oregon Coast. This opportunity involves providing pharmacy services at a community hospital setting, ideal for candidates licensed in Oregon who have full-time availability and can travel.Responsibilities:Verify medication orders accurately to ensure patient safety and compliance.Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff in daily operations.Perform pharmacokinetic monitoring and dosing adjustments.Consult with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy.Utilize pharmacy systems including Cerner for electronic records and Pyxis for medication dispensing. Schedule:Day shifts with 10 to 12 hours per shift.Weekdays from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.Weekends from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Qualifications:Current Oregon pharmacist license required.Experience working in a hospital pharmacy, preferably in a small or rural setting.Proficiency with Cerner electronic medical records and Pyxis medication management systems.Strong communication skills for collaboration with healthcare teams.Ability to work full-time hours and relocate or travel as needed.
