We are searching for people to join our team of Direct Support Professionals to make a difference in the lives of the people we support. Community DSP’s Taking folks into the community to help them find and make friends in integrated settings. Helping folks with disabilities to have new experiences in their community. Shifts are flexible based on your availibility and the needs of the people we support. Typically hours are between 9am and 5pm, but we are willing to work around your schedule. Great option for students in college. Job Duties will include but are not limited to: The position includes transportation into the community, to medical appointments and supporting people to find their interests in the community. It will also incldue assisting people who experience disabilities with cooking, cleaning, and hygiene (when necessary) and encouraging and empowering independence in their day to day. Candidates must work well independently and as part of a larger team, helping others to become more involved/connected in their community.
