The company values expertise and precision in delivering high-quality results for its clients.Job DescriptionCompetency* Knowledge of electric utility transmission line engineering and design.* Knowledge of project management skills and uses of intermediate practices to increase productivity, efficiency, and accuracy. May serve as PM Coach to Task Managers and other PMs.Job Responsibilities:* Complete day-to-day project tasks as required for successful project delivery. Tasks may include:* Preparation of Specification Packages* Preparation of Structural and Fabrication Drawings* Design and Analysis of Transmission Lines using PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and PLS-Tower* Design and Analysis of foundations.* Analysis of existing and proposed structures with regard to Client and Other required codes, standards, and specifications.* Performance of Electrical Clearance checks and calculations.* Coordination and development of permits for Railroads, Roadways, and Environmental Crossings.* Apply engineering principles to assist in the design of Power Delivery Projects.* Must demonstrate attention to detail.* Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.* Perform complex tasks typically following established processes.* Implements effective engineering methods, provides technical guidance, and acts as a resource for engineers and designers.* Directly manages projects with no limit to the number or value of individual projects managed.* Coordinates and develops proposed scope, schedule, and fee for projects managed.* Assist in quality control and quality assurance of active projects, providing peer and final reviews and training of engineers and designers in quality control processes.* Establish and refine engineering processes and standard operating procedures that enhance team performance, alignment, and delivery predictability.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. EngineeringCertification/Licensure* Professional Engineer (P.E.)
