Aircraft Maintenance Technician

Duties: Proficiently execute inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, function tests, and removal/reinstallation of aircraft engines and APUs for various corporate jets, strictly adhering to manufacturer's specifications, FAA regulations, and Duncan Aviation's approved procedures. Additionally, serve as an RII Inspector. Maintain precise and timely documentation for engine and project records, including meticulous review of preliminary reports to validate labor hours, work orders, invoices, and inventory allocation. Ensure accurate sign-off language and billing for labor and outside services. Foster and nurture customer relationships by actively engaging with area customers, effectively communicating with sales and marketing teams, and identifying engine service opportunities within the Company’s customer database. Promptly respond to customer inquiries and address concerns related to engine and APU service work. Take complete ownership of assigned engine projects, overseeing all aspects from pre-planning to project delivery. Emphasize safety, uphold high-quality standards, and enhance project efficiency throughout its lifecycle. Experience: Demonstrated avionics experience with a proven track record in aircraft electronics systems, troubleshooting, and maintenance is an essential qualification for this position. Possession of a valid driver's license is a mandatory requirement. Candidates must be able to provide documented evidence of their legal ability to operate a motor vehicle. A current and valid Repairman's Certificate is a fundamental prerequisite. This certificate attests to the candidate's competency and authorization to conduct maintenance and repairs on designated aircraft systems. Holding a recognized Quality Inspector (QI) designation is a must. Applicants must possess this designation, which signifies their capability to uphold and ensure high-quality standards in the aviation industry.
