You will lead administration of Linux-hosted applications and services, mentor team members, ensure STIG compliance, and serve as the primary technical escalation point for Linux environment issues.Key ResponsibilitiesLead technical operations for enterprise Linux application administration in a federal IT environmentMentor and guide junior Linux administratorsOversee deployment, patching, monitoring, and incident response for RHEL-hosted applicationsAdminister Apache, Tomcat, LDAP, Oracle Unified Directory, and Red Hat SSOMaintain STIG configurations and drive cybersecurity compliance across Linux systemsDevelop and maintain SOPs, runbooks, and technical documentationLead disaster recovery testing and technology refresh planning for Linux environmentsServe as primary technical escalation point for Linux environment issuesRequired QualificationsU.S. Citizenship requiredActive Secret or TS/SCI and/or ability to obtain;Bachelor's degree OR RHCE certificationMinimum 7 years of Linux/RHEL application administration with 2+ years in a lead roleHands-on expertise with Apache, Tomcat, LDAP, and enterprise directory servicesExperience with security hardening, STIG compliance, and patch management on LinuxPreferred QualificationsRHCSA or RHCE certificationExperience with Splunk or similar log management/SIEM platformsCloud infrastructure experience (OCI, AWS, or Azure)Background in federal IT with DoD security compliance requirementsCertificationsRHCE preferred or required in lieu of degreeSecurity+ or DoD 8570 baseline a plusActive or obtainable DoD Secret clearance; T5 may be required
