Pole Fielder/ Locator

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES · Able to measure poles by taking clear and detailed pictures using Amplex camera. · Must ensure the equipment’s calibration settings are accurate before beginning work. · Able to use Amplex tablet, as well as geographic context in the field, to ensure correct poles are being measured. · Must be able to find discrepancies between what is observed in the field and what is provided in computer system and communicate back to Fiber Design Team. · Able to locate, identify, and mark fiber before construction or other digging projects. · Able to properly maintain company tools, vehicles, and equipment. · Must follow all company safety procedures and wear personal protective equipment as required. · Ability to follow directions and complete assigned tasks effectively and efficiently. · Capability to work independent or as a team as needed. · Present a positive professional image while in the field. · Ability to work on other projects as needed. · Other duties as assigned.
