Locum Anesthesiologist

Full-time, true generalist Anesthesiologist needed for an ongoing locum role in Des Moines, IA. This position requires broad clinical skills across multiple service lines and in-house call, including weekends. Providers focused solely on OB are not considered.Assignment details include start ASAP, full-time schedule, and rates up to $450/hr. The practice involves hospital and surgical center settings within a Level II Trauma Center, with coverage across 28 operating locations, supported by CRNAs and tech staff (no AAs). Providers work independently at times with occasional CRNA supervision.The scope includes general, orthopedics, urology, robotics, cardiac, and pediatrics cases. Candidates must have strong generalist skills, proficiency in regional, spinal, epidural anesthesia, TEE certification for cardiac, and fellowship in pediatrics. EMR systems include Epic and paper charting. Required credentials are Board Certification or eligibility, ACLS, BLS, and flu vaccination.
