Sr. Database Developer - Hybrid

Senior Database Developer position open in the St. Louis area for a full-time professional with SQL Server database development experience, including stored procedures, database design, performance tuning, and C#/.NET applications. This is a hybrid position requiring two days per week in the Bridgeton, MO office (Tuesday & Wednesday). This is a great opportunity to join an established organization and work with large, business-critical databases and applications while taking ownership of database development, optimization, and support. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server database solutions Develop and optimize queries, stored procedures, functions, and database structures Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues and bottlenecks Maintain data integrity, security, access controls, and auditing Support production and development database environments Collaborate with .NET/application developers on database and data integration solutions Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members Requirements & Skills: 5+ years of SQL Server database development experience Advanced Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL skills Strong experience developing SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers Experience with database design, data models, schemas, and relationships Experience monitoring and tuning SQL Server databases and optimizing query performance Experience supporting multiple SQL Server databases in large production environments Knowledge of .NET and legacy applications that interact with SQL Server Experience with data integration and ETL processes Understanding of Entity Framework and TFS/Azure DevOps is a plus
