We are looking for a board-certified Psychiatry physician to provide high-quality inpatient care in a supportive and collaborative environment. Job Details: Location: Near Palmer, AK Start Date: January 6, 2025 Duration: Ongoing Schedule: Scheduled clinical hours plus call. Call response time required: 20 minutes. Setting: Inpatient consult liaison (no outpatient care required). Patient Load: To be determined. Specialty Areas: Anxiety disorders, affective disorders, ADD/ADHD, personality disorders, psychotic disorders, and more. Familiarity with pharmacotherapy, group therapy, and family therapy required. Support Staff: Details to be provided. Requirements: Board Certification: Required. Licensure: Must hold a valid Alaska license or qualify under the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC). Certifications: BLS certification required. Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days. Experience: Preference for candidates with a fellowship or specialized training in Psychiatry. Additional Highlights: Electronic Medical Records: Epic system. Trauma Certification: Facility is stroke-certified. Call Details: Includes phone consultations and potential call-backs.
