Details Work setting is a 20-bed adult Surgical ICU within the Department of Surgery Diverse patient population including Trauma, GI Surgery, Ortho/Neuro Spine, Transplant, Vascular, Surgical ENT, and General Surgery cases Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts) Floating required to areas of like skill set as needed EMR: Epic (preferred) Requirements Active MD or Compact RN license required Current BLS certification required ACLS certification preferred Critical Care Certification (e.g., CCRN) preferred Minimum 2 years of current, strong Surgical ICU experience required Experience at a large facility (500 beds) required Trauma course completion preferred Prior travel nursing experience preferred (2 previous assignments) SSN and DOB required for consideration 1 professional reference required for consideration Additional Information Orientation sessions are held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers 13-week contract American Traveler Job ID P-703901.
