A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.Opportunity:/nRN - ICU/n/nJob Details:/n• Work with a varied work schedule including weekend and holiday rotation/n• Possible call requirements and floating to support other units as needed/n• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care for ICU patients/n• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs/n• Formulate individualized care plans utilizing assessment data and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members/n• Implement care plans through direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities/n• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising care plans as needed/n• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records according to policy/n• Provide supervision and direction to licensed and non-licensed personnel/n• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities/n• Current valid RN license required/n• BLS certification required/n• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required with experience in specialty area within past 12 months/n• Bachelor's degree preferred/n• Professional certification preferred/n• Must maintain clinical performance competencies through annual validations/n/nFacility:/nThis medical center operates a comprehensive ICU department providing specialized critical care services to patients requiring intensive monitoring and treatment.
