Desktop Support Technician
OverviewWe are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to support end-user computing environments, focusing on device deployment, asset management, and user account administration. This role requires strong hands-on experience with Windows systems and a solid understanding of enterprise IT operations.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild, image, configure, and deploy desktop and laptop systems in a Windows environmentManage and track IT assets, ensuring accurate inventory of hardware, devices, and lifecycle statusProvision and maintain user accounts in Active Directory, including account creation, group memberships, and access managementSupport end users with device setup, configuration, and troubleshooting as neededMaintain system documentation and asset records to ensure compliance and operational efficiencyCollaborate with IT team members to support device rollouts and ongoing infrastructure needsRequired Skills & QualificationsHands-on experience with PC imaging, configuration, and deployment in a Windows environmentProven experience with IT asset management and inventory trackingStrong knowledge of Active Directory, including account creation and group administrationSolid troubleshooting skills for desktop hardware and software issuesStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with imaging tools and deployment technologiesFamiliarity with enterprise IT environments and device lifecycle managementStrong communication skills and customer-focused approachJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Naperville, IL.Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
